How to raise a child in good taste, manners, politeness, taste

We simplified the limit: go to the theatre in shorts, transport forget to give, instead of the classics voraciously read cheap novels, on TV watching action movies and TV series “soap”, and then wonder why our children are uncivilized. How to teach your child (along with myself) good manners and good taste?

You still doubt that this is necessary? Be aware that this is almost the only chance to protect their child from… drugs and alcohol! There is nothing strange – the degree of internal culture depends on the degree of addiction to harmful addictions. English scientists were interviewed more than 1,000 people and found that from fans of classical music only 1.5% are friends with “green snake”. And 24 % of the fans of electronic music and hip-hop too fond of alcohol, drugs and indiscriminate sex. By the way, the same pattern was observed in ancient times. Even Xun Tzu, philosopher of ancient China, wrote: “When the music is empty and vicious, the people dissolved and lazy, dick and contemptible”. Now you can say the same for blank books, movies and games. Thus, to influence a better future for their children, urgent start their “civilize”!

Have to start with yourself. The purchase of art books will not help, Continue reading

OUR CHILDREN THREATENS COMPUTER EPILEPSY

Five years ago Kotlas doctors, watching a television program about the harmful damage caused by computer games health, was indignant: “What kind of a whim. How they can talk to about this so seriously?” Now doctors again in horror. But, unfortunately, for a very different reason: in our small provincial town began to appear children, the sick. computer epilepsy!

Chronicle of events

Oddly enough, the computer epilepsy has been known since the times of Ancient Rome. To identify slaves in Rome turned the Potter’s wheel, which rhythmically reflected the sun’s rays. I unfit for this work arose dizziness and nausea, were observed numbness and impaired consciousness.

1959. Artist and poet Brian Gysin during the bus trip through a shadowy alley began to hallucinate due to the change of light and shadow. A year later he built the “car of dreams” – rotating with a frequency of 78 rpm striped paper cylinder with stavatti bulb inside. Some managed to achieve a shift of consciousness.

1966. The premiere of the film “Flicker” at the new York festival. The Creator warned that epileptics to not watch. The film was 30 minutes. Some hallucinated. The rest is just a headache.

1991. Manufacturers of video games recognize Continue reading

What this child will become when you grow up? — PSI-factor. Opinion

We almost got used to the complete lack of a systematic approach in the management culture of our country. Theatres for considerable budgetary funds trying to exercise maximum ingenuity in the matter of repertoire, offering the viewer a “salad” of classical pieces, torn to pieces and artificially re-stitched brilliant contemporary Directors, talented actors all available ways of trying to attract attention, shocking, but ultimately provoke in the viewer is not culture shock, and negative and irritation. The result is visible immediately, as if in a doctor’s surgery — all artificial climbing out badly tailored seams and does not want to become one.

Today the attention of the authorities to the culture, to the problem of upbringing of the younger generation, in fact depart on the second plan. And if authorities have long given up on the culture (today it is perceived familiar and common), the situation with education is, to say the least, fear. Mixed feelings not only engenders the formation of school programs, new textbooks, systems assessments and exams (though it does not add optimism!), but the lack of a systematic approach to the learning process. Where is the goal, where are we going, what do we want from our children? Why you need higher education, Continue reading
